An elegant and Calm Brand Rooted in Family, Beauty, and Calm
Every now and then, a project comes along that feels deeply personal—not just for the client, but for me as a designer too.
That was the case with Bellrose Wellness, a boutique wellness brand created by my friend Claire Dean. While Claire has since returned to full-time work in physical therapy and is no longer running the business, the branding we built for Bellrose is one I continue to cherish.
Why? Because the meaning behind it was as beautiful as the visuals themselves.
The name Bellrose is more than a pretty word—it’s a tribute to Claire’s daughters. “Bell” and “Rose” are their middle names, and we wanted to design something that honored that connection in a subtle, elegant way.
From there, inspiration struck: what if the logo itself reflected a bell-shaped rose?
We custom-designed a floral emblem that brings that symbolism to life—graceful, soft, and utterly unique to Claire’s brand.
Claire had already created a beautiful physical space for her wellness clients, and we wanted the brand to feel like an extension of that experience—not something that clashed or required a full overhaul.
So, we pulled her color palette directly from her salon suite. Think: serene tones, soft contrast, and a palette that supports calm and clarity. It allowed the brand to integrate seamlessly into her existing environment.
The overall aesthetic? High-touch. Minimal. Luxurious. Monogram-friendly. And so very Bellrose.
While Bellrose Wellness is no longer active, this brand continues to be one of the projects I reference most often—on Instagram, in client conversations, and in my own inspiration files.
Because a brand like this doesn’t just look good. It means something. It tells a story. It feels like the person behind it.
And that’s the kind of work I’m always proud to share.
Whether you’re building something brand new or creating a visual identity that reflects years of growth and change, your brand can be both beautiful and deeply personal.
