Logo Design Nashville TN: Pretty Little Things Rebrand

I met Cassie through Women Connect when I was the chapter leader for Spring Hill. We became fast friends pretty much immediately, bonding over entrepreneurship, networking, and the challenges of building something from scratch.

Cassie runs Pretty Little Things by Cassie, a jewelry business where she curates beautiful, symbolic pieces. Think charms with meaning, pieces women buy for themselves or receive as gifts that actually matter.

She knew she needed a rebrand. Her business was growing, but her branding wasn’t reflecting the level she wanted to reach. She needed something that felt romantic, personal, and made people want to be part of what she was building.

So that’s exactly what we created. And honestly? This logo is still one of my all-time favorites, even years later.

Meet Cassie and Pretty Little Things

Cassie’s business is all about meaningful jewelry. She curates pieces that tell stories, pieces with symbolism and intention behind them. Her customers aren’t just buying jewelry. They’re buying something that represents who they are or what matters to them.

When Cassie came to me for her rebrand, she had a vision. She wanted to incorporate her kids’ birth flowers into the branding.

This level of personal meaning isn’t something you can usually uncover just in conversation. Every client is different. Some care about their horoscope sign, others love their birthstone, some want their favorite quote worked in. It’s not a question I typically ask because it’s so personal and specific.

But Cassie came to the table knowing exactly what mattered to her. And when a client brings that kind of intentionality? That’s when the magic happens.

Why Logo Design Nashville TN Means More Than Pretty Graphics

Let’s be real: logo design isn’t just about making something pretty.

It’s about creating a visual identity that represents who you are, what you do, and how you want people to feel when they interact with your business.

For Nashville small business owners, your logo needs to work everywhere. On packaging. On social media. On business cards. At networking events. On your website. In email signatures.

Cassie needed something that would work beautifully for jewelry packaging, which was her primary use case. Every piece of jewelry she ships goes in packaging with her branding on it. That’s the first physical touchpoint her customers have with her business.

It also needed to feel soft, romantic, and girly. Not just because that matched her product, but because it matched HER. Her personal style. Her energy. The way she shows up.

The best brands are the ones where the business owner can show up confidently because the brand actually feels like them. When your branding doesn’t match who you are, it feels like wearing a costume. And people can tell.

The Design Process: Birth Flowers and Brand Love

Starting with What Matters

Cassie wanted her children’s birth flowers worked into the design. These weren’t just decorative elements. They had deep personal meaning.

Every time she sees her logo, her packaging, her marketing materials, she sees her kids represented. That’s the kind of detail that makes a brand feel like HOME to the business owner.

And honestly? That emotional connection matters. When you love your brand, you show up differently. You promote your business with more confidence. You’re proud to hand someone your business card or ship a product with your logo on it.

Color Palette: Blush, Mauve, and Romance

We built the entire brand around soft, romantic tones. Blush pink, a deeper mauve, a lighter blush, and cream.

Very feminine. Very romantic. Perfect for jewelry that women buy for themselves or receive as meaningful gifts.

The colors also happen to look amazing on Cassie. And yes, that matters. When I design brands, I think about what my clients will actually be wearing in photos, at events, in their marketing. If your brand colors make you look washed out or don’t match your style, you won’t show up as confidently.

Cassie’s colors work for her business AND for her personally. That alignment is everything.

The Logo Itself

The logo is soft, kind, and approachable. It has an elegance to it without feeling stuffy or overly formal.

It translates beautifully online. Instagram, Facebook, her website. It looks gorgeous everywhere.

But more importantly, it works incredibly well for packaging design. The lines are clean enough to print small on jewelry tags. The flowers add a romantic, feminine touch without being too busy.

It’s one of my all-time favorites even years later because it’s timeless. We didn’t chase trends. We created something that would still feel fresh and relevant five, ten years from now.

Why This Logo Design Works

Let’s talk about why this rebrand actually works in practice, not just in theory.

Packaging: The soft, romantic design makes Cassie’s jewelry boxes and packaging feel special. When a customer receives their order, the unboxing experience feels intentional and beautiful. That’s brand loyalty in action.

Online presence: The logo translates beautifully to social media, her website, email marketing. It’s recognizable at any size, which is crucial for digital branding.

Personal alignment: Cassie can show up as herself because her brand matches her style. She’s not pretending to be someone she’s not. Her brand feels like an extension of who she already is.

Memorability: The birth flower detail makes it completely unique. No one else has this exact logo because it’s personal to Cassie’s family. That’s powerful differentiation.

Scalability: The logo works at any size. Tiny jewelry tags, large signage, social media profile pictures, website headers. It’s versatile without losing its impact.

The goal of any logo design Nashville TN project should always be: Does this work in real life? Not just, “Is it pretty?” but “Can I actually USE this across all the places my business shows up?”

What Makes a Great Logo (Lessons from Cassie’s Rebrand)

If you’re a Nashville business owner thinking about a rebrand or starting from scratch, here’s what I learned from Cassie’s project:

Personal meaning matters. When your logo has a story, it means something to you. You’re more invested in your brand. You show up with more pride and confidence.

Function over pure aesthetics. Beautiful is great, but does it work on your packaging? Your website? Your business cards? A logo that only looks good in one context isn’t doing its job.

Your brand should feel like YOU. If your brand colors or style don’t match your personality, you’ll feel like you’re wearing a costume every time you promote your business. Alignment matters.

Timeless beats trendy. Cassie’s logo still looks fresh years later because we didn’t chase trends. We focused on creating something classic and romantic that would age well.

Work with someone who gets you. The Women Connect connection meant I understood Cassie’s community, her values, and what mattered to her business. That relationship foundation made the entire process smoother and more collaborative.
